The Art of the Record Store

So, now seems like as good a time as any to point out that PLANET RECORDS IS MOVING. For those of you just tuning in, Planet Records, in addition to being the finest used record shop in the greater Boston area, is my place of employment, and the reason I make all these nifty cards. The new store will be right around the corner from the current location (for those of you familiar with Harvard Square, it’s on Mount Auburn Street, a little past the post office and just before Darwin’s). The new store will be approximately the same size as the current location, but with more browsing space on the floor; expect a greater emphasis on vinyl, but still with a healthy amount of CDs. While we still don’t have an exact date for the move, it will certainly be by the end of February, so if you or anyone you know lives in the Boston area, please help GET THE WORD OUT! Expect more updates as events warrant and Zero Hour approaches. —Oscar
